Linden Community Schools: Tyrone Woods Makes Donation

With so much on the line these days, it is important to give back to the community.

As the pandemic rages on, there is no denying that millions of people in the U.S., and the state of Michigan, have been gravely affected by COVID-19.

    Linden Community Schools

Though there is a glimmer of hope, thanks to people adjusting to the new normal, that does not change the fact that families, teachers, Linden Community Schools and the surrounding areas need all of the help they can get.

And that is where Tyrone Woods Manufactured Home Community comes in!

“Being in the business that we are in, the service industry, we could see firsthand our residents’ struggles — financially, with unemployment going on and various other issues,” said Justin Becker, Co-Owner of Tyrone Woods Manufactured Home Community.

“Moreover, with virtual schooling and distance learning going on within the school district, we know that most parents have a lot on their shoulders right now,” Becker said.

Thus, in order to help out, the owners of the Tyrone Woods Manufactured Home Community donated $1,000 to Linden Community Schools, 7205 Silver Lake Rd, Linden, MI 48451, and Change for Kids on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020.

“Though it may not seem like much, we want our residents, the school district, and the surrounding community to know that we see them. People are doing everything they can to help one another during these difficult times, and we wanted to do more. Of course, we do help our residents in every way we can, whether it is through safe management sponsored events, food programs, or working with tenants that are experiencing economic hardship. But we wanted to shed some positive light during this uncertain time, and what better way to do that than to help the local Linden Community Schools and our neighborhood’s children,” Becker remarked.

Tyrone Woods Manufactured Housing Community is not your average affordable manufactured home park.

In fact, this mobile home neighborhood has been a staple in the city of Fenton for many years.

Thus, if you have not had the pleasure of visiting or putting down roots at Tyrone Woods Manufactured Housing Community, you may want to come check it out.

This family-owned and operated mobile home community has contemporary manufactured residences and is located on Hogan Road in Fenton — less than 30 minutes away from other treasured Michigan cities, including Ann Arbor and Flint.

But that is not all this affordable luxury mobile home neighborhood has to offer:

    Mobile and Manufactured Home Living

Along with donating to Linden Community Schools, 7205 Silver Lake Rd, Linden, MI 48451, Tyrone Woods Manufactured Home Community is committed to making a difference wherever they can — whether it is by brainstorming ideas and donating to charitable organizations or providing in house financing for their must-see manufactured residences and mobile homes.

“The fact of the matter is people are not able to work as much as they would like or need to, and this weighs heavily on families trying to make ends meet. That is why we have made it a point to help our residents financially by offering some of the best mobile home lending around. Plus, we will gladly weigh the pros and cons with each and every prospective homebuyer when it comes to purchasing a home instead of leasing one,” Becker said.

Inside this close-knit housing community, it is not difficult to see why so many people enjoy living here.

Not only will you find affordable luxury manufactured homes and mobile residences, but residents also enjoy playground areas, basketball courts, and lush landscaping. Plus, there are tons of amenities and high-end housing features (including custom layouts, oak kitchens, luxurious bathroom suites, and stone fireplaces).

On top of all that, there is a wealth of shopping, dining, and entertainment options right outside the community.

For instance, there are three distinctly different areas for shopping — Dibbleville, Silver Parkway, and North LeRoy.

You can also find pretty much any kind of cuisine around these parts, and that includes fast food joints, 5-star restaurants, and local eateries.

Finally, when it comes to entertaining yourself and your family, it is safe to say you will find fun activities for just about everyone. And all of these above-mentioned establishments are following CDC guidelines in order to ensure the health and safety of everyone in the county.

Tyrone Woods Manufactured Housing Community also offers both single and double-wide homes for lease and sale.

A few other noteworthy features here include a prime location, which of course includes an excellent school district with Linden Community Schools, move-in ready homes, a fair pet policy, plus a welcoming environment for growing families, retirees, and young professionals.

    A Community that Cares

Tyrone Woods Manufactured Housing Community also consists of staff and team members that care. Take Dawn Marshall, an employee at Tyrone Woods, who organized the donation highlighted above.

“It makes me smile every time I think about it. The fact that my bosses are helping the school is fantastic,” Marshall remarked.

Along with other long-time Tyrone Woods Manufactured Housing Community employees, Marshall is an active member in the surrounding neighborhood and community.

Marshall, herself once worked at Linden Community Schools as a teacher’s aide, and she also coached gymnastics.  What’s more, not only did she previously work at schools in Linden Community, but she worked at Howell Schools as well.

“I personally support local teachers 100 percent, and I think it is great when people show their appreciation or support of these now essential frontline workers,” she said.

The bottom line is that these are tremendous schools. Linden Community Schools currently has a student-teacher ratio of 20:1.

    The Surrounding Neighborhood

One of the main reasons this mobile/manufactured housing community chose to partner with the Linden Community Schools is because it meant helping their mobile home residents as well as providing much needed assistance to the surrounding neighborhood and community.

In fact, Tyrone Wood Manufactured Housing Community’s donation will help kids across the country gain access to virtual schooling resources. So, whether this means donating money for personal computers for kids who cannot afford one, making vital distance learning tools more readily available, or simply helping to support local superhero teachers, there is no denying that Tyrone Woods Manufactured Housing Community’s donation is going to go to good use.

Along those same lines, Tyrone Woods Manufactured Housing Community is only getting started.

“We would like to team up or partner with as many local organizations as possible, especially during these almost unprecedented times. Ultimately, our goal is to have an even bigger presence in the surrounding neighborhood or community while ensuring that not only schools in Linden Community, but all local public schools and every child in need gets the assistance they need and deserve,” explained Becker.
